Polo Golf & Country Club, in Cumming, Hosts New Regional Real Estate Networking Event

Published March 08.2019
Cumming, GA - Thomas Hogan, founder of Atlanta REAL Network, announced today that the new regional networking event for the real estate industry would be relocating to the Polo Golf & Country Club, in Cumming, beginning with the March 28th event.

Atlanta REAL Network has as its mission to provide networking events for real estate professionals, and their service providers, in the Northern Atlanta markets. “The Northern Atlanta Metro market, from Canton to Buford is among the hottest real estate markets in the Southeast. Upon being assigned to work from the Cumming branch, I was surprised that there was no central significant networking event to support such a vital industry,” said Thomas Hogan, mortgage banker with United Community Bank.  “With the support of sponsors, including the Club, we feel this event will grow in relevance and importance.  We have introduced ‘Atlanta REAL Talks’, a Ted-Talks style short form presentation, and intend to include both market and economic updates at each of the events.”

The Polo Golf & Country Club, located at 6300 Polo Club Drive, in Cumming, recently underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation, and is ready to market its amenities to the greater Forsyth County community.  “We are excited to host this new real estate industry networking event at the Club,” said Rob Miller, Membership Director for Clubcorp, Inc.  “Thomas is experienced and full of energy and has laid the groundwork for what we feel is a meaningful event, and we think the target audience and branding for the event fit well with the club and its members.  We are delighted at the opportunity to host the event.”

The Polo Golf & Country Club is managed by ClubCorp, a privately-held company based out of Dallas, Texas.  ClubCorp manages or owns over 200 golf and country clubs in the country, with over 480,000 members, and over 20,000 employees.

Atlanta REAL Network meets every other month, on the last Thursday of the month.  The event is supported through table sponsorships, and is currently seeking a Presenting Sponsor.  The event is open to all residential and commercial real estate industry professionals, including real estate agents, and the many service industries that support them.  The event is free to real estate agents (upon the presentation of a current business card), and costs $10 for everyone else.

Hogan concluded, “Especially in the current digital age, we think both commercial and residential real estate transactions will continue to rely heavily on quality personal relationships.  The whole of idea of ARN is to provide a hub that supports both nurturing existing relationships, as well as making new ones.  It is how we are going to grow our businesses in the future.”
